Vegan choc orange bliss balls
These vegan choc bliss balls are easy to make and delicious, perfect for an on-the-go snack.

Ingredients
- 1 cup walnuts
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup sunflower seeds
- Juice and zest of 1 orange
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 10 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped
- ¼ cup cacao powder, plus extra for coating
- ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
Method
- Combine ingredients in a food processor until it forms a thick paste.
- Use your hands to roll into 10-12 evenly sized balls and coat with some cacao powder.
- Store in fridge for a couple of hours to harden.
These look great, but is there any way to bring down the carbs? REPLACING THE DATES with what?

Hi Tracey,
You can try switching the dates for 1/4 cup of nut butter. That should work but you’d need to store them in the freezer as they will melt at room temperature.
