Spring smoothie bowl
This spring smoothie bowl is fruity and refreshing with pineapple, grapefruit, blood orange, and chia seeds and spinach to add fibre and protein.

Ingredients
- ½ cup pineapple, peeled and chopped
- 1 grapefruit, peeled
- 1 blood orange, peeled
- 1 cup spinach
- ½ avocado, peeled and pitted
- 2 tbsp protein powder
- 6 ice cubes
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- ¼ cup almonds, chopped
- ¼ cup coconut flakes
Method
- Cut the grapefruit and orange in half, and cut into slices.
- Place the orange, the grapefruit and the pineapple in a blender along with spinach, avocado, ice, protein powder and a dash of water. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the smoothie into a bowl and top with the chia seeds, almonds and coconut flakes and fruits of your choice.
