Paprika popped amaranth

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp amaranth
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch paprika

Method

  1. Place a deep pot on the stove on high heat. Test that the pan is very hot by placing a drop of water in the pan and waiting for the sizzle.
  2. Once the pan is hot, put amaranth in the pot, stirring continuously for a couple of minutes until the majority of the amaranth is popped- like popcorn.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle with salt and paprika.
