Homemade fresh minted lemonade
This home-made fresh minted lemonade is zesty and refreshing on a warm day! Unlike traditional lemonade, we utilise our natural sweetener in this recipe for a healthy lemonade alternative.
Serves 6
Ingredients
- 8 lemons
- 1 litre of cold water
- 2 tbsp of Nature Sweet Sugar Substitute *
- ½ cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
*adjust Nature Sweet to personal preference.
Method
- Pour the water into a large jug or glass pitcher and add the nature sweet. Stir until dissolved.
- Juice seven lemons and pour into the pitcher. Cut the remaining lemon into slices and add to the pitcher also.
- Stir the fresh mint leaves through the lemonade and place in the fridge for a couple of hours to chill.
- Serve over ice.
